The weeknd is telling us that the people in the world are trying so hard to be up to date with everyone that they're using their credit cards instead of actual money(Debit). This is how society is now-a-days as everyone wants the latest stuff - Versace, Bugatti's, Louis Vuitton, Jordans, Ralph Lauren etc.- and they don't have the money to purchase it. Which is why they use their credit cards, because if they used their actual physical money they wouldn't be able to afford anything. 

Assertion Analysis #16

These words are related to transcendentalism as they reveal the individuality in ones self. Being able to do the work for yourself is basically helping the universe. The idea of Oversoul and Unity are present within his quote. An individuals virtue and happiness depends upon self realization I.E working for ones self to better ones surroundings.
